Michael Yang

I am a professional photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.  I took up photography so I could take better pictures of the California sea otter, a personal project that took a year to complete and was featured in publications around the world.  I still visit and photograph the sea otters regularly.

I hold a BA and MS in Computer Science from UC Berkeley and UC Irvine, respectively.  I was previously employed at Apple and Microsoft.
