Big Sea Otter Pup Ready to be Weaned

This big sea otter pup was at the weaning stage.  The pup was so large that when mom tried to carry it, the weight of the pup pushed her entire body underwater and she could barely keep her head above the surface!  Mom was also ready to move on and was already receptive to a new suitor.
